Topic: Some people believe the aim of university education is to help graduates get better jobs. Others believe there are much wider benefits of university education for both individuals and society. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

People have different views about the benefit of university education. While some people admit that the main purpose of studying in university is to increase the job prospects, others think that university education has much more broader advantages to individuals and society. In my point of view, due to competitive environment , nowadays people attend to university to have more opportunity on applying a job.

On the one hand, student applying to university have many good perspectives. Firstly, the independence of living in a hall of residence is a great chance for people to develop maturity and social skills. Secondly, society generally and government particularly will make gains from the contribution of student and increase the local economy. As a result, it both benefit the people future as same as progress the national economy.

On the other hand, most people attend university in order to improve their future career. In university, student can develop marketable skills and professional knowledge to profit their job.

Moreover, as the world is always develop, the majority of company prefer people with university degree to graduated worker. In addition, higher education will be very difficult if people have low economic condition. Despite the reality difficult, the opportunity for further study is great for job prospects.

In conclusion, the aim of university education is to improve future career much more than benefit the society and people themselves. The world is a competitive place where people with more advantage will have more chances to achieve their goal rather than the disadvantaged people.
