Topic: some people think sending criminals to prison is not an effective way to deal with them. Education and training are better. To what extent do you agree or disagree.
In these days, imprisone someone has aroused people's discussion. It is believed that criminals should be put in jail, while others claim that they should be educated with better methods. I have a strong opposition to the latter sentence, because I consider that imprison and education both play a vital role in reducing crime.
One the one hand, prison is an effective way to punish offenders. This means that, those, who commit a crime, may suffer from losing freedom and being separated from the one they love, and even being depeived some civil rights. Moreover, put criminals behind the bars help release people's fears. Murderers, for instance, are imprisoned may comfort anxious among citizens. People can walk comfortably on the street or feel secure in their neighborhood.
On the other hand, in school, students should study some aspects of the law, in order to help them get a deeper insight into law. So that, they are able to avoid being involved in crime or becoming a victim. For example, youngsters should learn about traffic laws to drive safety without causing accidents. In addition, prisoners should also be provided knowledge and skill about work or societies when they are released. So that, they can have a normal job and may not crime again.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that it makes more sense for putting people, who has criminal behavior in prison, for the reasons provided above, I totally disagree that providing better education alone is a effective solution to reduce the crime rate.
