Please Review My IELTS Essay!

Topic: Although more and more people read the news on the internet, newspaper will remain the main source of news for the majority of people. Do you agree or disagree with the statement?

Nowadays, there are many people who use Internet to read the news, but newspapers are still one of the main sources of news for most people. I completely agree that newspapers play an important role for people to read news.

The first reason for this is information on newspaper is filtered carefully. There are many things that happen every day, so this leads to there is too much information we have to read. Even though there is some fake or unnecessary news, we do not realize them and waste time reading miscellanea. Therefore, newspapers are the best choice to gain information because news on newspapers are true, and useful. For instance, citizens in Vietnam often read “Police Newspaper” which contain the latest news with true information. Moreover, editors had found out information carefully before they released news on newspaper.

In addition to the reason above, I also believe that newspapers are very convenient for all ages, especially for the old. We are living in the modern world, so we are using modern equipment. We can learn how to use the internet, how to use smartphones, but perhaps the elderly don't know. Therefore, if newspapers did not exist anymore, the old would not have any sources to read news.For example, my grandfather is 78 years old now, and he does not know how to use the internet, so he only reads newspapers. If newspaper did not exist, it would lead to my grandfather or the aged cannot read news.

In conclusion, although we are living in the modern world, newspapers are maybe outdated. However they still have a lot of benefits cannot change.
