Topic: The maps below show the center of a small town called Islip as it is now, and plans for its development.
The graph below illustrates some proposed changed to the central area of the small town.
It is explicit that the main road will be converted into a ring road surrounding town center. There will be a variety of changes for shops and accommodation areas in the plan.
Looking at the map of Islip as it is now, we can see the main road will be redeveloped for pedestrians only. Traffic will be diverted to the dual carriageway which will form a ring around the town center.
It's apparent that there is a notable change of the row of shops which is in the north. It will be demolished and constructed a bus station, a shopping center, a car park and new accommodation areas. The row of shops in the south still remains. However, the park will be reduced its size, and new houses will be erected.
