Please review my IELTS essay

Essay topic: People today do not feel safe either at home or when they are out. What are the causes? What are the solutions?

My essay: It is true that people nowadays are developing a sense of insecurity. Reasons for this vary, and I believe that this problem could be improved by implementing a few possible measures.

The first step is to understand why life is no longer safe as it used to be in the attitude of people. One significant explanation is the increase in the criminal rate. On a regular basic, the disturbing news from all the conners of the word, such as robbery, burglary or kidnapping, is updated on the mass media. This arouses a vague feeling of unsafety among the citizens that even when staying at home, they are put in danger. The issue related to road safety is other reason.The road user are facing a higher level risk of road accident and street crimes. This is blame for rural-urban migration, which causes the over population and transport facilitis in major cities.

There is almost certainly no solution to this problem. However, one measure is that each individual should equip themselves with self-defense technique. It may help citizens consolidate the confidence that they could protect themselves, and minimize the damage in the case being attack by the strangers either. Relocating industries and bussinesses from urban to rural place might be possible to tackle the problem. This may decrease the population density and social complexity in the cities.

To conclude, there are reasons for the belief that people are not safe wherever inside or outside, such as the decrease in road safety, we could take actions to solve it, including improving the self-defense ability.
