Firstly, in the early times, the appearance of animals are so important to the survival of humans. This is because when all the supporting tools have not been invented, animals play an important role in helping people doing work. For example, buffalos enabled farmers to do the land faster, increasing productivity, and hence become farmers’ friends. Therefore, killing them for food is nothing but evil. Moreover, being intelligent like people, animals should be protected. Dolphin is a telling example, not only does this animal help people when drowning, but they also enrich people’s life by impressive performance.On the other hand, many people believe that humans must employ animals to satisfy their various needs, including uses for food and research. It is true that without meat, we cannot have a wealthy and adequate nutrition life as animals are the main source of food and indispensable for their lives. Moreover, in the global climate changes, the desire to prevent the extinction of animals will obviously lead to the demand for research of the feature of different ones. As a result, the experiment on animals will become unavoidable.To sum up, although animals should be protected from exploitation, but sometimes in order to serve the minimal need of human being, it is unavoidable.

There is no denying the fact experiments on animals bring about huge advantageous to people. firstly, animals play an obviously important role in the medical industry, as they allow researchers to produce new medicines thanks to some of their body part. Therefore, some particular disease can be cured and prevented, enabling people to lead a more healthy life. Moreover, without the help of animal research, thousand people would be unable to survive through Ebola epidemic, since vaccines need trying out on monkeys before using for people.

On the other hand, it seems cruel to experiment on animals for humans’ purposes. first of all, statistics have shown that most of the animal medical research will fail because the drugs do not stimulate people as they do on animals, leading to wasteful time and effort on researching as well as causing distress and undesirable effects on experimented animals. In addition, some experiments on animals are considered to be unnecessary. For example, with the aim of answering the need of perfume, mascara or lipstick, hundreds of mice have been killed for cosmetic purposes although people are still well without these things.

In conclusion, the disadvantages of testing on animals outweigh its advantages.
