The line graph illustrate the amount of carbon dioxide emmited each person in four countries over the period from 1967 to 2007.
Overall, as can be seen from the datas, there were an upward trend in the average of carbon dioxide in the Portagal and Italy, while the downward trend were observed in those of others in the period show.
In particular, starting with a significant increase from four metric tonnes to six metric tonnes, the amount of carbon dioxide of Italy went up slightly to about around eight metric tonnes at 1997. Then, it remained stable till 2007. Quite similar, in Italy, each citizen released more CO2 into the atmosphere as time passed when the figure increased by 2 metric tonnes after 10 years.
By comparison, the average carbon dioxide of United Kingdom was not much changed. It granduar declined to 11 metric tonnes to 9 metric tonnes between 1967 to 2007. Meanwhile, the figure for Sweden, after an 1 tonne climed in the first decade, also went down moderately to well under 6 tonnes at the end of the period.
