About 3 million deaths are caused globally by drinking alcohol each year as well as to the poor health of people ( WHO, 2016). However, the amount of death’s human is not stoping in the future. The minimum legal drinking and purchase age are similar throughout America: 21 years old ( Keller et al. 2009). Whereas, Australia allows people who are 18 years old or older can drink or buy alcohol ( Australia’s Department of Health, 2019). Some people believe that the teenager from 18 to 21 years old are adults, so they are suitable for drinking alcohol. However, this essay will argue that the legal minimum age for drinking alcohol should be raised from 18 to 21 years old in Australia for several reasons: Alcohol seriously affect to teenager’s heath.
