Authorities and related agencies not ought to be solely responsible for decreasing the quantity of road mishaps, citizens also have a responsibility on this problem. Personally, I am the opinion that both governments and individuals play a great role in introducing restrictions on increasing road accidents.

On the one hand, it is claimed that the government is able to improve the safety of road by a handful of solutions. Firstly, they had better allocate resources to upgrade infrastructure such as broadening road, building more pedestrian crossing or roundabout. Thanks to these measures, traffic flowing will be more faster, restraining accidents triggered by restriction restriction of network. In addition, in order to deal with the increase of road misfortune, appropriate policies have to be adopted to strictly punish law breakers. Penalties for dangerous drivers can act as a deterrent, discouraging people from offencing the same mistake as well as being against traffic laws.

On the other hand, looking at this issue from the other aspect, i do believe that commuters are equally plays a role key in limiting the number of road mishaps. It is common knowledge that the public must fulfill their obligation by means of strictly abiding by the traffic rules such as using riding helmet and seat belt while commuting, following traffic lights and signs and so on. Take Vietnam as an example, several drivers consider helmet as a headache and prefer cheap substandard quality of one just to avoiding fine. Moreover, self-raising awareness of consequence of serious accidents should be taken in to consideration. For instance, overtaking and drink-driver which belong to perception are major cause to risky affair especially fatality. Therefore, in stead of driving, a person consuming alcohol should take a taxi or public transport to guarantee safety for themselves and others commuters as well
