Topic: More and more people decide to have children later in their life nowadays. By an essay of at least 250 words, discuss the reasons and effects on society and family life?

It is true that a growing number of people decides to have children later nowadays. Reason for this vary, and steps need to be taken to tackle the problem.

There are several reasons why many people make a decision about having children later. Firstly, several young people are not able to earn money to take care of their children. Young people have lower salaries while their children need numerous things to grow up. There is a difficulty for young parents to balance daily life. Secondly, many people want to achieve their goal before having children. Some people who have dreamed such as traveling around the world, achieving a position in society and earning much money usually decide to have children later. A typical example of this is that my sister have children when she was 35 years old because she wants to travel around the world before she has a family.

However, the having children decision later make significant effects for society and family. Firstly, the elderly population becomes a burden for the government and society. This makes a tremendous fund of society, even the authorities cannot pay for retire people. As a result, economic growth will be declined. Secondly, having children later impact to their family when they are older. It is more difficult when a woman gets pregnant. This is dangerous for both the woman and children. Also, her husband is more tiring when he take care that children. It can lead to an inconsistency in the family, even they can divorce.

In conclusion, it seems to me that the disadvantages of having children later are greater than the benefits.
