The news is an important source of knowledge for all of us about the world, especially in this era of technology. Journalists are mainly responsible to bring this news to us but not all of them are true to their responsibilities and ethics. How much can we trust the journalists?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Came to our notice by journalists we are bombarded by news these days and is not possible to validate it by ourselves. As a result, it is our responsibility to check our sources, I mean journalists. In my opinion, only one with a clear financial record can be trusted.
Today, television channels, newspapers and most importantly social medias abound with news. Most people do not have time and resources to confirm news truthfulness. Hence, they have to trust reporters and not every one of them is reliable. It is a proven fact based upon thousands years history of human society and several example of a person who betrays people to the authorities for his or hers benefit.
What is the best way to prove journalists are loyal to people? Money is the one of the most wanted things in the world; therefore, if one's earnings depend on what the public think about him or her, that person always tries to be loyal to people. Hence, a journalist who has financial transparency can be trusted. In addition, from time to time there are crucial moments in history of every country when standing on the right side of history is vital and a good correspondent never miss that. There are other factors as well, for instance, the way they treat people and the authorities.
To conclude, in this busy life which people are exposed to a lot of news every day, no one has enough time for validating news. Therefore, people have no choice but to trust journalists, however, not all of them are trustworthy. Only reporters who has financial transparency and who makes right choice in the crucial moment and who treats people in a good way will people rely on.
