In the future, the main reason for going to the shopping malls will be for entertainments. Not to shop. Do you agree or disagree?

My essay:

Over the past few years, it seems malls have been changed. Shopping malls offer all day facilities and entertainments to encourage people to spend more time there and shopping is not the main priority for the malls.

Some experts believe that the culture of shopping have been changed. Other convenient ways of shopping are available. For example, online shopping has been increased and online shops like Amazon have attracted more customers and facilitated purchasing. People can buy their favorites while sitting at home. Therefore, malls are not popular options for purchasing goods any more. Many of stores in the malls are low income and high-income shops are not doing well. This case guides mall owners reinvent and make malls where customers can get unique experiences. The entertainments play a key role and are getting more and more various in malls.

In addition, cities are becoming more and more crowded and industrialized and people are always busy. They have to work hard and do not have enough free time to have fun with their families. Furthermore, modern industrial cities have fewer places of interest. Therefore, malls with high amusement facilities such as cinema, restaurants, sport clubs and live snake exhibitions are very popular options. Given the little time of these citizens have, the malls help them to make the necessary purchases, save their time and have a great time with their families or friends.

In conclusion, there will be many reasons to go to the shopping malls in the future like buying and recreations, but I think the main reason is entertainments.
