Scientific research should be carried out and controlled by the governments rather than private companies. Do you agree or disagree?

There is a belief that states should conduct scientific studies instead of companies. I strongly believe that both government and private corporations equally involve in science-related research.

On the one hand, the engagement of government to research can be ascribed to two primary reasons. First, health research carried out by the government represent social fairness among society. Given that individuals are a strong position to be a participant of surveys in the hope that their doctors would find the best solution for resolving environmental issues that affect people’s well-being. Second, the government plays a key role in promoting a strong relationship with other countries leads to collaboration in science become easier than ever before. Chance are scientists in a country could easily connect to their foreign counterpart altogether conduct the research under the supervision of states.

On the other hand, the participation of companies to stem research could not be underestimated. The presence of corporations involved in research that would lessen the pressure on the government’s funds. Governments stand a chance to set aside their financial budgets to invest in education or military which are currently underresourced. Furthermore, with the aim of making money, companies are motivated to conduct research more quickly and efficiently. For example, Dien Luc company has just carried out intensive research about electric cars and bring them to the market, that in turn have huge profits.

In conclusion, it seems to me that the contribution of government and private corporation engaged in research in equal measures would hold promises for society.
