In this temporary era, the omnipresent sight of advertisement is doubtless. MAny people contend that it exerts a positive influence on individuals and businesses while the others argue that it brings adverse effects. To the best of my knowledge, I firmly believe that the advantages supersede the disadvantages.

On the one hand, advertising renders reprehensible effects regarding one’s financial status. To elaborate on, it is discernible that there are thousands of enticing advertisements in every corner of the cities, covering a wide range of contents from commodities to services. Therefore, a large number of people fall for such commercial traps and allocate their money on unnecessary stuff. As a salient example, toys or accessories are some categories aimed at children and teenagers by presenting it in a glamorous way. Hence, these customers are inclined to spend more money on those products without particular reasons.

On the other hand, I strongly subscribe to the notion that the pros of advertising outweigh the cons in terms of businesses. This is to say that, thanks to advertisements, the introduction of a product has been more smooth than in the past, not to mention that it also reaches numerous clients simultaneously. Thus, the profit that one gains from commercial notification is gargantuan which proves that advertising plays an instrumental role. For example, Coca-cola is a company investing a tidy sum of money on its advertisement by collaborating with distinguished singers in order to attract more residents.

To reiterate, having considered the merits and demerits of advertisement, I support the idea that the positive effect overshadows its negative influence.
