Topic : In many countries, imprisonment is the most common solution to crimes. However some people believe that better education will be a more effective solution. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
In various nations, imprisonment is the most optimal solution to the crime, whereas some people agree that the crime percentage can diminish effectively, if people have good education. From the basis of my preference, I wholeheartedly agree with this view.
On the one hand, although captivity and strict punishment can prevent illegal acts, they can not solve the problems completely. A captive, who are released from prison, they may think about revenge and make another serious mistake again. In addition, after releasing from jail, some of them may have aspiration to be friendly people. But they hardly have chances to do that as people have detrimental prejudice about them and tear away them.
On the other hand, I believe that good education plays vital roles in tackle crime problems. First, each residents in each country must have the basis of understanding about national law. They must distinguish legal and illegal actions so as to avoid crime. Second, children needs to be taught to be decent people at the young age. Especially, when they turn to be adolescent, it is important for them to have psychology education because it helps people curb their negative emotions which leads to wrong behaviors.
All things considered, in my opinion, imprisonment is not the most effective way to fight against crime, providing better education for everyone is one of the most indispensable solutions to reduce the crime rate.
