People attend colleges or universities for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation and so on). Why do you think people attend colleges or universities?

My essay:

The university is a citadel for learning. It is a place where students with different cultures and religions come together for many reasons. Some students believe that educating in a college or university is essential for the job market and it is a brilliant way to obtain good opportunities. While, some of them think they can get knowledge by studying at university. In my way, there also are other reasons, like getting experience, increasing social skills. I will outline some of these reasons.

Nowadays, job marketing is very competitive compared to any other times in past. A college or university degree gives more opportunity to have a stable job. Students can learn new skills and try to achieve their bright future ambitions. In addition, the student not only learn the theory, but also practical aspects are educated at the universities and colleges. But if we look on other side of the coin, it is the proof that some universities do not prepare students for particular job. Some people attend universities for promotion and improvement their job position. Therefore, they can get a higher salary and may be a boss if they study a higher degree at the university.

Many go to these educational institutes to get experience. For many, it is the first time are away from home. They can meet people with diverse cultures, and Being at such environments leads to learn to face harsh situations. For example, migration new counties, working while studying, working as a team member. They can know themselves and build their character. In fact, education is a bridge between a inexperienced person and a perfect man.

To sum up, among the various reasons, the most important reason is career. However, gaining new experiences is also a purpose of attending education.
