Please review my essay (speaking)

Describe a team that you were a member of

• what the activity was
• who you worked with you
• how easy or difficult it was

And explain how you felt about being part of this team.

This topic really makes my mind flash back to the days when I was in high school. It was my last year studying here and I was really energetic and always brimming with enthusiasm when it comes to social activities. I used to be a member of a football team and I'd participate in some dramas at school.

Today I’m going to tell you the time that my whole class taking part in a series of competitions, and this is also the last time that we were together as high school students. It was the day before April thirty, as you may know, in Viet Nam, 30/4 is the day of festivals and sports competitions. So my class was preparing for that day, we built a tent made of bamboos and oil palm leaves. And other classes were doing so. We were competing with other classes to make the best tent at school. And besides building the tent, we also cooked some typical Vietnamese foods. Our class was divided into different teams, and each team was in charge of one specific mission. My mission was to sell as many foods as possible. In retrospect, we were absolutely having a great time together. At night, when everything was finished, we built a huge bonfire, then everyone in the school spread their arms out and went round in a circle, singing, and dancing until midnight.

Then the day finally came, I joined the team playing tug-of-war. My team was fiercely competitive, we went to great lengths, and finally, we nailed it. The story hasn’t ended yet, in the afternoon, I took part in another team whose mission was to solve quizzes and find letters that were hidden in different places in the school. The final goal was to come to the right destination. It was really fun actually.

Anyway, all of these were such a beautiful, indelible memory for me. Like they always say time flies, when you’re having fun.
