Please review my essay for Ielts task 2

Question: Some people believe that it is good for students to have the same teacher for several years. Others think students benefit more from having new teachers each year. Which do you think is better? Give specific reasons to support your opinion.

My essay:

Some people argued that it is good for students to have the same teacher for several years. Meanwhile, it is also believed that having new teachers each year is more beneficial to students. In my opinion, it is better to change teachers during school years.

In the first place, having the same teacher in many years has its own advantages. That is to say, it creates consistent relationships between teachers and students, since teachers have opportunities to interact with students for multiple times. On top of it, if each class does not change the teacher, it will take less time for schools to arrange the timetable and gain control over lecturers.

However, in reality, the replacement of teachers is more helpful for students in both academic development and character growth. To be more specific, this prevents students from getting bored with the same teacher year after year, and enables them to be more enthusiastic about their studies. In addition to that, when communicating with different teachers, students have more opportunities to obtain knowledge and deal with diverse situations, thus become more confident to face up with pressures. In other words, this experience is like approaching the world on a small scale, and it brings a lot of precious lessons to students in terms of school behavior as well as life skills.

In conclusion, although both views mentioned above are true to some extent, I suppose that it is necessary for schools to replace teachers each year with a view to upgrading the quality of education.
