Please review my essay about maps.

Topic: The plans below show a student common room at five years ago and now

The maps illustrate modifications made to the student standard room five years before and after 5 years.

Overall, the room has been renovated extensively, notably great re-arrangements of the tables in the center and minor changes to some of the amenities to the left-hand side of the entrance.

Five years ago, most of the student room was occupied by four sets of 7-piece round tables. However, nowadays, two of them were replaced by a long 9-piece rectangular table set located to the top left of the room. The cabinet to the bottom right corner of the room was also replaced by the television, with three particular armchairs placed around it. A new bench for laptops was added between the round table set and the television area. Other significant changes include adding another microwave placed right next to the old one and a drinks machine adjacent to the refrigerator. In contrast, the sink, the cupboard, and the bench, which were located in the top left of the room, remained the same.

Notes: Map directions are used sparingly to show where things are located.
In Task 1, you get a lot of extra points for making combinations. The interesting contrast for these two rooms is how many seats are there - does the new layout have more or less seating?
