One major problem conected to childhood obesity is that their detrimental eating habits. These day, children incline to consume a lot of processed meals , junk food and soft drinks. According to research, this kinds of food may result in an increasing in calories, fat and excessive sugar intake have been playing major roles in the rising rates of obesity all around the world. Childhood outweight can profoundly affect childen’s physical health , social and emotional well- being and self- esteem. Another factors that is most significantly linked to obesity is a harmful lifestyle. Nowadays, childen are slothful to do physical activities, instead, they are always sitting in front of computer screen to play games or watch television. Each additional hour of television per day an increased the prevalence of obesity by 2%. This sedentary do more harm than good to children. Because this makes child feel tired , stressed and more important is to increase the risk of developing obesity

There are several actions could be taken to mitigate the problem mentioned above. Firstly, governments should raise taxes on the sales of fast food and soft drinks. It has been done in France , for instance, and could be implemented by other countries too. Secondly, it is important for parents to control what their children eat to make sure that they have a healthy diet. Parents should also educate them about detrimental effects of an imbalanced diet so that they can make more healthy food choices. Finally, it is necessary for parents to restrict the time their children spend on sedentary activities and encourages them to take regular excercise.
