Topic: young people's attitude towards environmental issues

In recent times, environmental issues are such hot topics that government in many countries are struggling to deal with. But for young generation who will conquer the future seem too lethargic towards them. What caused this trend to happen?

With the hustle and bustle of life, they are too busy with following the pace of life such as working or studying, therefore, the young don't have time to think about other problems, they just concentrate on their own interest. In addition, many people also conceive the notion that these issues are none of their businesses and rely on the government to solve. Nonetheless, they are deep-rooted and long lasting problems, only government cannot control them effectively, so need everyone to join hands especially youngters because they are enthusiastic and energetic.

How to interpret and convey the message of the urgency matters? For instance, we should create green advertisements or slogans in the form of videos and put them on many social sites like Tiktok or Facebook. Accroding to a survey conducted by Oxford University, people spend averagely 6 hours a day on social media, such as surfing the web or srolling on Facebook. This can attract their attention thereby promting them to take actions. Or we could hold green campaigns, like exchanging used plastic bottles for books,clothes, or goods. This solution can both raise their awareness about environment and reduce the plastic watse which is hard to decompose.
