The two diagrams, 1996 and 2016, depict the layout of a science and technology museum.
Overall, the most notable changes are the construction of a solar wind area and the changes in the use of several facilities in the museum and a parking lot. While the museum has been slightly extended, the parking lot remains the same in size.
In 1996, a large parking area for cars is situated on the southeast of the outlay, and the museum on the southwest. A path connects the southwest corner of the lot with the southeast corner of the museum. This basic configuration has not been changed.
However, by 2016, the northeast corner of the museum has been enlarged to make place for a VR room, and on the northeast of the outlay, a solar wind area has been built. The south side of the lot is now used for bicycle parking. The area on the northeast corner, which held writing desks, now holds computers. To the south opposite it, there was a steam engine exhibition, which remains the same. On its south side, the museum displays electric cars instead of diesel. A café on the southeast corner is now a restaurant. A reception area to the east of the café has been enlarged to the east. On the east side opposite the exhibitions, there was a room for print, but it now houses digital technology. A library to the north of the room has been moved to between the computers and the VR room.
