There is no doubt housing is one of the basic welfare everyone needs. Nevertheless, in the last few years many people around world are struggling to find appropriate accommodation. This essay will highlight the principal causes of this issue and possible solutions to resolve them.

The predominant factors which causes the shortage of houses are two-fold: burgeoning population in some cities and the cost of buying a house in some countries are exorbitant. Firstly, the population growth in the world has seen an unprecedented increased, as a result the demands for buying a house have also risen. However, construction industry can not catch up with this massive incline. Moreover, in many countries the cost of accommodating is far expensive which some people with low and average disbursement are not able to afford one. Thus, millions of people around the globe are suffering from homelessness.

In order to address these issues, governments must take some actions. To commence with, authorities can compel banks to increase their maximum mortgage amount and extend the deadline time for pay off. Consequently, more people who lack to buy a house would buy their own shelter. In addition, governments can ease the process of getting permission to build houses for ordinary people for the propose of constructing more buildings which can alleviate the shortage of accommodation.

To conclude, housing problems are caused by growing population and extortionate price of houses. However, these problems can be tackled if government consider the solutions proposed above.
