An illustrated line graph reveals the proportion of people choosing a new accommodation based on five factors. It is clear that the crime rate is the most consideration and other factors varied markedly among different age groups.
Fluctuating between 80 to 85 percent, low crime rate remains a desirable factor at all. In contrast, the availability of Parks and Public Transport was not as crucial as others with slightly more than 5 percent at age 25 to 34. These factors, then saw a gradual climb in the old age groups, however, they were still optional choices for most people.
Schools, meanwhile, peaked in 55 percent in the begin before declining sharply at older age groups. The trend indicated that adults were more likely to consider about education while Shopping Facilities was not a serious problem for most of them as the figures were only around 15 percent. On the contrary, the upward trend of Shopping Facilities in middle-age groups demonstrated that people tend to care more about the conveniency of shopping when they get older.
