Hi
Please review my essay.
Some people prefer to spend their lives doing the same things and avoiding change. Others, however, think that change is always good.
Discuss both these views and give your views.
We see people prefer doing the same things in their life. They do not try out new things or make even small changes. There are some others who like to spend their lives by regularly incorporating changes in the things they do.
The people who prefer doing the same things in life either feel comfortable with what they do or are apprehensive of the risks that a change entails. In other words, they do want to get out of their comfort zone. These people are of the view a change, no matter how small or big, can make them face unforeseen consequences. This they think is absolutely unnecessary. Though they are aware that a change can be a major turning point in their life they do not go for it as they value the convenience of the routine more than the uncertain benefits of a new thing.
There is another group of people who just cannot spend their life doing the same things. They believe in the adage “variety is the spice of life”. So, they now and then incorporate small or major changes in the things they do. They do not mind taking small risks when they effect a change or try out new things. Further, they are willing to put in the additional efforts and are determined to face the challenges that they encounter as they adapt themselves to the change.
In my opinion we should consider bringing about some changes in the things we do in life. Otherwise life becomes monotonous and meaningless. A change can be the cause for one or more positive developments. It can be an opportunity for us to learn a new skill. It can give us increased monetary returns and make our life more secure and comfortable.
