Topic:
Explain in detail what you aim to learn at university, and how it relates to your future goals.
My answer:
The discipline coming to the top of my head after reading the APU2030 Vision and Admissions Policy is International Relations and Peace Studies (APS).
In APS, I aim to learn interdisciplinarity like economics, history, and political science, which helps me have a multi-dimensional view. Only when understanding the different aspects of the world outlook as well as their intricate relationships, I can offer the best solution to the world's problems.
After graduating, I want to become an expert in International Relations. And interdisciplinary learning seems to add many eyes to me, which helps me not only have a holistic view of the world but also become a global citizen.
Furthermore, I will make full use of APU’s multicultural school environment to gather ideas of people from different countries about world issues since these opinions are great resources for those studying International Relations.
I think the person studying international relations also contributes to the formulation of foreign policy directly affecting the lives of people in this country. Therefore, getting the people's ideas is a necessary action. Besides, making politics become a thing everyone can discuss is my ideal, so such an action can encourage people to take part in this field.
