Trains and private vehicles are some of the most popular means of transportation in many parts of the world. It is of opinion that the authority ought to allocate money for railways construction instead of the road networks. I am strongly convinced with this statement for both environmentally friendly and important economic driver.

Firstly, tram lines are less harmful to the environment than road ones. Several people are commuting in one single locomotive, which reduces the amount of CO2 emission from a variety of internal combustion engines. Moreover, modern trains are usually operated by electricity, leading to a sharp decrease in carbon footprint on an annual basis. For example, in Singapore, not only does building an integrated subway station, known as MRT, contribute to protecting the environment, improving the standard of living but this also handles the traffic jams during rush hours. Consequently, investment cost on train station systems is totally reasonable to save our lives from air pollution.

Secondly, money allocation for the construction of railroads is one of the main contributions to economic growth. It positively affects the logistic cost, especially the manufacturing process. An extensive railway network enables people to transport goods most safely and cheaply, which helps companies and producers to save transportation costs and increase profit. Therefore, enterprises owners can devote money to a national fund. In addition, railroad expansion helps citizens in different regions in the country collaborate more easily, boosting the exchange of commodities with a diversity of products. As a result, improvement in rail systems brings an inevitable benefit to the development of the economy.

In conclusion, the fact that authority in both developing and developed nations ought to pay more money to build railways services offers a plethora of advantages outweighing drawbacks.
