My essay:

It is believed that there are several advantages to organizing worldwide sports contests in the country. However, some people say that it is not true. I will discuss both sides and give my opinion.

Firstly, although these events will attract a lot of people, it also has its drawbacks. International sports events demand strict standards. Therefore, the country has to spend a large amount of money on improving the sports centre and building new sports stations. Moreover, there are some social problems like thefts and prostitution. These will affect dramatically national security.

Besides, international sports events also give some benefits to the country. Many people around the world will come to this country. Consequently, it might boost the economy and increase the number of tourists coming there to have their vacation. In addition, the government will pay attention to natural wonders and famous destinations so they will be improved. Furthermore, people participating from the country will receive supports from their country and try their best to bring glory to their nation.

In conclusion, international sports events have some negative aspects but their benefits can't deny. In my opinion, the central countries should consider sharing other events with other countries to enjoy the curative long-term benefits.
