My essay:

Global warming is an increase in the average temperature of the Earth’ climate system. Scientists have predicted that its rate has accelerated. There are many causes. In this essay I will explain the main cause of this issue. I will then move on to suggest some solutions to deal with this problem.

The most important cause is human activities. Nowadays, we burn fossil fuels much more than the past. Industries and mining activities are the most air pollutants by humans all over the world. They produce a large amount of methane and carbon dioxide emissions. These greenhouse gases trap the heat and the atmosphere get hotter. In other hand, the population of human has increased. As a result, food and housing demands have raised and there are more needs for fuels. In addition, they need space to make farms and house. So, some people have been drawn to deforestation and use the tree’s wood for fuel and another different purposes. This has reduced the rainfall in these areas.

Although there are many concerns about global warming, its progress can be prevented. One solution is that governments should use strict rules against air pollutants. For example, the worn-out cars and machines can be put aside and their use can be banned. Also, renewable and clean energy sources should be invested, such as solar and wind power. Another solution is reforesting. Population control can reinforce this and help to slow the rate of warming.

In conclusion, we can say that human activities like burning fossil fuels, population growth and deforesting are the biggest threats to global warming. Governments should use the law, clean energy and population control to improve the situation. We can create campaigns and all try to be more ‘green’.
