Topic: For what reasons might you think of someone as being a lost cause?
Please answer the question up to 80 words.
My answer:
There are many reasons for it. I think the most important one is comparison. When you compare yourself with a better person (in your believe), you may feel a sense of loss. Then, you may think that you don't have got any ability and you won't be successful. It makes you a lost cause in the long run. As a matter of fact, If you think about anything, it certainly comes true.
We use "lost cause" to talk of someone whom we think has no hope of succeeding in something or achieving something. This is asking you to talk about someone else (not about yourself). com/definition/lost_cause Try again.
