The advertisements of late make sure the fashion and the consumer goods are famous among the people. It is believed that the humans ape each other creating a huge demand for the fashion clothing and the daily use goods. This essay will discuss that though human beings copy each other, that is not the only reason for the popularity of fashion wardrobe and user goods.

The consumer goods and the fashion are popular for two main reasons; advertisements and creative designing. The manufacturers often advertise their items even before they start producing the item. There are concepts of advertisements like "pre-booking" a product which creates this false popularity. Heeding to the competition, the manufacturers advertise their products in all possible ways such as on TV, on the internet, on radio etc, and showcase a demand that does not exist. In addition, the popularity of clothes and goods today are because of their creative designing. The manufacturers invest a lot in surveying what the people need and like. They often create products which cater to these needs. Hence, the advertisements and the creative thinking of the manufacturers popularise the products.

Despite the humans may look like they are copying each other, the fact is they are out of choice of the products in the market. Many people may not be able to find what they like. They would choose from the available options. This may seem like they copied few others who chose the same product.

The popularity of products is often illusive. This essay discussed how the humans copying each other is not the sole reason for products to be on demand.
