Hi Mam,
I have a query about the last sentence we spoke. Why is the word "too" a misfit in that sentence please? Is my usage wrong? Or am I not placing the word in a correct manner for it to give a proper meaning?

No, it's not. But it has to fit in the context. It means "in addition" or "also." In the stand-alone sentence, there is nothing which is being added to. Examples:
Girls like to play games, and they like to listen to music, too / also.
Girls like to play games, and boys do too
