Please review and score my Writing Task 1 essay.

The diagram provides the information about the consumption figure for renewable energy resources during the period between 1949 and 2008 in the USA. Wood, hydroelectric power, wind and biofuels are four energy resources and the total of all demonstrated in the diagram.

For the first sight, the lines depicting the numbers of consumption fluctuated. Wood and hydroelectric Power were used most.

Biofuels resource was not used over the period from 1949 to 1980, so was wind energy. Biofuels came into commercial use from 1981 while wind energy wasn’t. It was not until ten years ago that wind energy was employed. For nearly 60 years, biofuels and wind resource kept maintaining lowest. The highest consumed year of biofuels was 2008, at over 1 quadrillion whereas with wind resource, it was just uder 1 quadrillion. The consumption of hydroelectric Power and wood resource rosed and fallen but the number of hydroelectric Power used was more unstable. Wood resource remained nearly steady during the period between 1949 and 1974. The total of all the resources consumption reached the highest in 1997 at 7 quadrillion.
