TOPIC: In today's job market it is far more important to have practical skills than theoretical knowledge. In the future, job applicants may not need any formal qualifications. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

MY ESSAY:

In the modern era, there is one of the controversial conception that prefer craftmanship rather than knowledge, which proposes a future of recruiters asking only for skill performance. In my prospective, I believe that both pratical and intellectual abilities are vital as they are linked intimately.

It is undoubted that skillfulness is a stronger evidence of capacities for job oppoturnies. With a view to picking the suitable ones among numerous qualifications, the companies have to order the applicants to work on the probationary. For instance, a person is obliged to serve in a restaurant for a two-month trial before offical work. In addition, when it comes to white-collar jobs, the papery proof seem less noticeable. It is obvious that people tend to count on high-profile plumbers with seniority without checking certificates.

However, knowledge is also necessary in projects that require complete understanding on the field. To illustrate, considering a plan for an upcoming shopping centre is available solely for those who are well-informed of the economic status of the area as well as the overall residential demands and so on. Therefore, the planners handling it are all educated individuals. Moreover, ignorance prevents us from making progress. Only by possessing the theory could anyone practice and develop. Hence, interviewees need qualifications to ensure a long-term passion to please the appliers seeking for potential ones.

In conclusion, it is inadvisable to deny the role of both factors's contribution to the prosperity of career since skill and knowledge have a close bond to each other.
