Many people feel it is a waste of money to try to save endangered animal species, for example, the tiger or the blue whale. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

my essay:

There is a common belief that the money which is spent for preserving wildlife animals, especially exotic ones like tiger or blue whale, is not beneficial. I totally disagree with this opinion and I think that it is important to save these animals.

There are many reasons to protect the wildlife and preserve it. First and foremost, animals and the environment around them create an ecosystem and without it, life on Earth will be at risk. When an animal lives its life, it becomes a part of the food chain. This means that the animal eats a different creature and can be eaten by another one. If a species becomes extinct, the food chain will be broken and the fauna will be badly affected.

in addition, the flora will also be damaged and cause many problems to the environment. Another reason is that we are responsible for damaging the animal life. It is because human have hunted down every last one of a species or destroy their home for economical benefits that they become extinct. Therefore, we must give our effort and money to preserving the wildlife.

However, many people still think that this kind of action can take up to much time and money. This is because it takes many research, equipment and scientists to rescue an animal. But if we can keep the wildlife safe, it can be very beneficial. For example, eco-tourism, which allow tourist to be exposed to wildlife, will make a lot of money for the economy. And if the flora is untouched, the atmosphere on our planet will not be damaged.

In conclusion, I think that it is worth it to rescue the endangered animal like the tiger or the blue whale. Even though there is some disagreement, we can not deny the importance of the fauna system. And by saving them, we are also building a better world for us.
