Cam 13 Test 1 Writing Task 2

Living in a country where you have to speak a foreign language can cause serious social problems, as well as practical problems.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Agree
In today’s scenerio, people are more likely to live oversea for better life and environment. Moving to a different language country can lead to a lot of issues that they have to deal with, most of them are in social and practical problems. I strongly/totally agree with this statement for the following reasons.
First of all, people often gets isolated in initial time. Whenever you move to the aboard, there are some common situations you must cope with due to the differences in culture, rules, regulations and lifestyle. Insecurity and fears of revealing innocence will make it difficult for you to communicate with native people. My bestie who study abroad shared with me that she found it very hard to make friend at first.
Another issue is that language may limit you from expressing your ideas and feelings. This might be a strong advantage for native people to surpass you in competitive situations due to your lack of language. A foreign language is always a skill that you have to study and improve continuously to ensure that you will not forget. Unfamiliar with native people, it is their natural ability. Hence, it is important for each and every individual to get a better command on the language before moving to any country.
To conclude, many people spend their lives in different countries. They face there some social as well as practical issues, but most of the humans overcome these problems in a short period of time through technology and conversation with native speakers on a daily basis.

Disagree
In today’s scenario, people are more likely to live oversea for better life and environment. Certain people think that moving to a different language country can lead to a lot of issues, most of them are in social and practical problems. In my opinion, I strongly against this statement for the following reasons.
First of all, with the noticeable development of technology nowadays, I believe that the language barrier will be soon disappeared. People can use portable translation devices to communicate with anyone from any country in the world. Thanks to technology, immigrants are now able to communicate with native speaker through advanced application in their smart phone. Modern tools will definitely help foreigners in the first step of adjusting to a new life in a foreign country.
Another signigicant point is that a strong effort to practice and change every day will help immigrants gradually solve problems in the long run. Making new friends and taking the initiative to close the gap will make life in a foreign country easier. Native speakers will support a lot in language learning. Practing and learning from mistakes will help people overcome their difficulties and get comfortable with the language as the days pass.
To conclude, many people spend their lives in different countries. They face there some social as well as practical issues, but most of the humans overcome these problems in a short period of time through technology and conversation with native speakers on a daily basis.
