The charts below show the reasons why people travel to work by bicycle or by car.

The pie charts give data about the reasons why people prefer to go to their workplace by car or by bicycle.

It is clear that the majority of people like cycling to their office due to health and fitness and less pollution while others choose arrive at their company by car for its comfort.

In first chart, 30% of the entire number of people go to work by cycling because their first priority is fresh air which has the same proportion as health and fitness. Meanwhile most people in second chart are considered going by their own car for the convenience which is about 40%.

On the other hand, distance to work make up 21% of people to choose car rather than bicycle for working. Remarkably, other reasons for residents go to work by riding are parking problems and cheap, at 15% and 13% respectively. However, two controversial opinions about speed are mentioned in charts, 12% say they prefer going to work by bicycle because it will much faster than car compared with 14% regard the speed of bicycle is not as fast as car. Finally, more storage and safty are the less important reasons for people to choose car as their main transport for working, with 14% and 11%.
