Topic: Over-reliance on modern technology means that people are failing to learn, or are forgetting, many basic skills. People are becoming so reliant on modern technology that they are no longer able to do some things without it.
To what extent is this true?

In this day and age, it is argued that since the advent of technology, many people are over-dependent on it and, as a result, people are hard to learn interpersonal skills. From my perspective, I disagree this viewpoint and believe that humans are able to do tasks without the technological advances.

It is unavoidable that technology has an integral part in everyone's lives and bring numerous benefits. It is designated to simplify backbreaking tasks and enhance the quality of people’s lives. We now have some technological devices such as washing machines, vacuum cleaners to do house works. Another thing is that, social networking sites help us to keep in touch with people easily without going outside. Moreover, there are plenty of calculation apps that support people in calculate some mathematical problems.

However, before the existence of technology, people still had a wonderful life and were still proficiency in doing tasks. Because humans are the most intelligent creatures that they are supposed to survive in every situations. They could do the chores on their own and still have mathematical competence by some skills were taught in primary schools. In addition to this, we might still communicate with others by hanging out with them, chatting in cafes instead of using Messenger, Zalo or Twitter. Therefore, they are not at the mercy of the development of technology, they just get used to absorbing experiences and skills with technology’s support.

To sum up, I believe that people are not so reliant on the technological gadgets and can not lose critical abilities to stay alive.
