Please rephrase my sentence

I am newbie!

Could somebody please rephrase this sentence to make it more elegant:

Figure XXX compares the temperature distribution from the full model with a second simulation where the correction was not applied. It is clear from the delayed response in the case with no correction tern that Eq. XX is an indispensable step in this approach.
