Please read my topic and do give your opinions please
My dear and respected teachers,
1: "I just take a cup of tea in the morning not during the day." correct?
2: "It was my mistake to send you a text message". correct?
3: "Today he asked me if he loved you'' It's grammitacally correct but it refers to the past. I think Native English speakers use "Today he asked me if he love you'' in spoken English'' Am i right?
Please teach me properly because this kind of sentences confuse me.I'll be very grateful to you.

Just to make sure that you are saying in #3 what you mean to be saying.
You have person A, who is speaking.
You have person B, who is being spoken to.
You have person C, who is the "he" in the question.
A tells B that C asked A if C loves B. Is that what you meant? Did C expect the person he asked to know whether he himself (C) loves someone else?
