Letter Writing

Please read my motivation letter

Dear forum members,
I am looking for anyone who may help with my motivation letter for the MA master program in Language and Communication.
And it will be greatly appreciated if you can just provide me with some constructive comments.

I did not intend to write a long letter, but found out it needs to be 700 words at least, so I added things to it, which I know might look weird or incoherent.
Therefore, I could really need someone to read it and share opinions with me.
Like what I should or shouldn't put into, some ambiguous parts or grammatical errors maybe.

In short, I will be really thankful if you could give me a hand with it!

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to apply for the Master program of Language and Communication.
Graduated with Bachelor of Art degree in English from [University in Asia], I have always been keenly interested in language. My interest in language dates back to high school, where I happened to have a polyglot teacher, and she used to share us languages she speaks. At that time, I was sheer amazed by the varieties and sometimes similarities among languages, and wondered how people transfer language into thoughts. At that time, I could not imagine how is it possible for people to understand something without translating it into [my mother tongue], which is my mother tongue. This had made me want to know more about how language interacts with the environment.
With my major I took courses from both linguistic and literature sides, as I view it the best way to know every aspects of a language. I enjoyed studying in various aspects of English, and was excited to discover more about languages besides spelling and grammar. Also, with my natural interest in language, I stated to learn [another Asian language]. The more I know about it, the more I was again fascinated by every component that forms the language, and so decided to pursue a career goal related to it.
Complementing my study during Bachelor was my extracurricular activities performances. I participated actively in the Student Association of English Department, where I served mostly as team leader or instructor in activities. Both of them require one to have good organizing and communicating ability, and as I became more experienced with these positions, I found out the essential part of them is to coach and to help. Through this, I realized my passion of helping a coaching people, and was further inspired to combine my interest in language with this passion, that is to become a teacher.
Fortunately, with my solid academic performance, I got selected for the teacher training program. With the teacher training courses I took, I got to know more about second language learning and teaching. For example, I learned how we learn our mother tongue, and how to analyze this process with the aim of assisting the second language acquisition.
Aside from second language learning and teaching, via the teacher training program, I also gained knowledge from other fields. The knowledge from other studies together provides me with new ways of interpreting languages. Take Sociology of Education, social reproduction theory arouses my interest by describing how the language is used according to social status, and how, reversely, can this influence people’s way of communication, and then possibly reproduce their social status. I have always held strong interest in language, and all things I have learned opened my eyes to new perception. While language can be seen simply as a tool to communicate, within every communicating situation there lies reasons make it up, and make it unique. And that is what I want to know more about.
Around the end of my bachelor, with the ambition to polish my English competence and to acquire knowledge that may be integrated into my future career, I applied for the exchange program and got admitted to [University in Europe]. I have been curious about what other student study in their fields, and considered this to be a good chance to take a closer look at them as I believe any kind of knowledge can be beneficial in certain way. During the stay in [University in Europe], I benefited a lot from the informative courses I took. Sometimes, I was not dealing with topics that I have been familiar with, and thus needed to reach out for new sources or help, and this has equipped me with better skills to pursue my goal. I learned that people from other fields can be used to doing researches or working on presentation in ways that they are accustomed to, while new and good to me. When working with my fellow students, I also learned how to put everyone’s strength together to make the best out of us.
The diversity of students come from around the world was another great inspiration to me. As we shared different cultural backgrounds and almost only one language in common, I had chances to look into how people use the same language with influences from their own cultures. Through usage of gestures, body languages, and nowadays, social networks, the way we perceive things reflects greatly on our communication. There were so many subtle things lying in languages which I may have read in textbooks, but haven’t had chances to experience by myself.
Finished the exchange program, I came back for my internship as planned. In the internship, I have to put what I had learned so far into practice. The internship helps me to see my strength. I am a fast learner who can always take advice from my mentors and adjust my teaching quickly. Still, as the teaching goes, I feel that it takes much more to be a great instructor. Like what I had figured out, language is the center of learning, as every information transfer through it. Learning a language just puts more emphasis on it, and how far could I make communication functions better will be the key important for me to become a great instructor.
I have experienced great courses provided by you, and know that I will gain expert knowledge as long as I put efforts into my study. In addition, [University in Europe] has been famous for its strong research background, which means courses I will be taking can help a lot when taking about putting theory into practice.
I am thankful to the time in [University in Europe], where I was greatly motivated to pursue my future dream and I look forward to go back to [University in Europe]. The difference is that this time, I will be returning with solid preparation and resolute motivation. With my international experiences and interdisciplinary education, I will show my enthusiasm and add spice to the program. I clearly understand going from good to great takes commitment. I am not just willing to do, but ready for it.
Thank you for considering my application, and I look forward to positive response.

Sincerely yours,

For starters, change Sincerely yours to Faithfully yours (if I were you, I would find the name of the person you are writing to-instead of sir/madam- and then leave it as Sincerely yours) There are not a lot of pronoun 'I' which make the whole thing flow well. Also, know that you put your letter here, you may get caught with plagiarism. It's not a big dead, just because it's not actually a plagiarism but just saying.
