You saw an advert in the newspaper asking for volunteers to help run a charity event.

Write a letter of application to the organizers. In your letter:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter with regard to your advertisement in the Daily Times newspaper. I am interested to become a volunteer and can help you in running the charity event.

I am keen on helping you because of my passion to help those who are needy. Your Organization provides free education to underprivileged children which is a noble cause, and I want to help you in this matter.

As far as my experience is concerned, I volunteered for the victims of Japan's earthquake in 2014. Without anyone's assistance, I solely accumulated a donation of more than USD 50,000 in just ten days.

I can help you in many ways. You can use my office premises for this event which will save your cost and you can use this amount in educating children. Besides, I have a vast network of donors and I can introduce your team to them.
