Attention attention!

Do you know that regular households in your garage can turn to a juicy dollar?

As they said, someone's trash is someone's treasure.

A few months ago, I was cleaning my antics when I found a bundle of unused VHS tape. It was a new, never used condition.

I knew that there is a demand for empty VHS tape and I was right. Once I put it on facebook it was gone in the matter of hours.

The buyer agreed to pay $100 for the bundle and picked up on the same day. I would say that was quick and easy money for nearly zero effort.

Now you maybe asking, what item you can sell?

That’s easy. Everything!

Everything has a value on the market.

As a start you could look for a collection item, Baseball card is the perfect example for this. I have a friend who trades baseball cards daily. Some of these cards can go up to thousands of dollars.

Another thing could be a value is second hand tech phiraperals, such as computers and laptops. It's common that people go to the market to get a cheap second hand laptop and sell it for a higher price on facebook.

Those categories and items I mentioned above is just an example. Be creative and find items familiar to you. Reselling business is broad and gives people a chance to tailor their business to their liking.I knew that someone who specialize in selling RV vans. Pretty unique isn’t it?

It’s important to focus on a certain category, because in reselling game, your knowledge is your profit. By limiting your scope, you will get a deeper understanding about your items, price and the market movement. Once you feel comfortable in one niche, feel free to go branch out to other categories.

Now after you find the item you want to sell, you need to find the market price for this item. Jump on your computer or phone and head to ebay.com. Go on the search bar and type the name of the item. On the sidebar, you will find an option to display a history of sold items. Viola! You got your item market price.

Now you know how to find an item to sell and how to find the right price. I want you to go look around your house to find if there's any item you can sell.

If you could find nothing in your house (or every stuff has sentiment value) you could look out at your local garage sale. Many sellers on garage sale just want to get rid of their item and you definitely could score a good bargain there.

Do not stress out too much if the item will make you money or not. The goal here is to get you familiar with the sourcing process. You want to get used to with the process of finding the item and understanding the value.

In the next email, I will guide you to put the item on sale and how to market it.

See you in a few days.
