Please point out mistakes!

Hi! Kindly make corrections in the following lines!

When I entered their house they first stared at me as pretending that they had not recognized me at all but as I gave my brief introduction to them then they behaved as knowing me from longer period of time. Their unusual behavior towards me totally disturbed me that day.

Mirch Masala..... When I entered their house they first stared at me , as if pretending that they didn't recognize me ( at all ) . B ut as I gave my brief introduction to them , then they then behaved as if they (knew)(had known) me long ago.
