The settings of a story can change a character’s mood motion, feelings, and thoughts. The most significance setting in the story “Tears of Autumn” which affect the story was when she’s ion the ship, in Japan, in America, and during the 70s’. Without these settings, the story won’t be as good as it is now.

Japan is a country without many freedoms during the time of 70s’; this is the reasons why the young woman moved to America form Japan. Ship is the most emotional vehicle, with the blow of wind, and the smell of ocean. It could make you cry, and it also could make you laugh. This is how the young woman felt on her way to America form Japan. She’s worry about her family back in Japan, and she’s happy about her marriage in America.
