Future Goals

Everyone has a future, whether it is long or it is short but they have one, and what they end up doing with their future it will be their decision, but I have my own to worry about. I have to think about what I want to accomplish now, tomorrow, a year from now, and so forth. I want to do something with my life, I haven’t exactly figured out what I want to be, but I know I don’t want to sit at home and have other people work so I don’t have to, I like to be able to take care of myself so I’ve got to start making goals for the future.

I’m in high-school, a junior right now, so I’m getting pretty close to figuring out what the real world is all about. I’ve got to get my act straight and I’m working on that right now by making sure the grades I make right now are good, as well as making up for those classes I didn’t do so well in before. I’m taking as much extra credit as I can possibly get, I know it’ll help me a lot. I want to make sure that when I graduate high school I have some options to choose from instead of just having one choice that I whether I like it or not it’s what I’ll have to take because I hadn’t done well in the past, so I’m doing all I can right now to make sure that doesn’t happen.

So the end of high-school will eventually come around and I do want to go to college, I want to see and experience new things, things that people talk about happen there and after. Many people I know talk about it and how great it is. I’d love to finally make my schedule, choose what I want to study, go to school and actually have a little fun. Again I really want to do something with my life, I know you can’t just do anything because then it will be like you have to go to work instead of that feeling I want to pick something that relates to me and love so then it won’t feel like a job.

Although I’ve had a couple jobs, I know I’m going to have to get one when I go t college because you never know when you are going to need that little bit of extra cash. There’s plenty of reason to have a part-time job you get to experience the outside world choose your hours and it will help you communicate with others depending on what that part-time job is. It’ll be a lot different because you are not living with your parents anymore or eventually won’t be. The money I’d make I’d use for emergencies, if something happened which hopefully nothing bad will happen but you never know. Maybe use some of it for little vacations for the weekend, you never know.

There’s so much to think about, so many goals I have to accomplish to get where I want to go, but I know I’m going to have to work really hard for it, nothing comes easy. At the moment I’m just starting to make a list of things I want for my future, as well as things I have to get done now to get there. I know that later on I’ll have it planned out better for now I’m just going to add on to my list and explain different ways on how to get them done and out of the way, as well as thinking about what I want to do after college too. So I’ve only got a yr and a half to graduate so my time is coming pretty close and I’ve got to work harder, better and faster than some other people, because I’m pretty close to the end of a new beginning.
