Please note that you are responsible...

Hi

This is the start of a formal letter from a manager of an organisation. Is the wording OK?

Dear Colleagues:

You all have been issued a USB flash drive for both office and personal use. Please note that you are responsible for any kind of loss or damage to it.

* ..by "loss" -- I want to say if the USB flash drive is lost.

Thanks,

Tom

I would simply delete 'any kind of...to it':

Dear Colleagues:

You all have been issued a USB flash drive for both office and personal use. Please note that you are responsible for loss or damage.
