Please, need help with directions.

Hi teachers,

Could you help me with the given directions. I know they are wrong. I just don't know how to explain them in an easy and proper way.

With the given nouns and the correct quantity word between parentheses write affirmative and negative sentences. But first read the example.

EXAMPLE:

Vegetables (some, a little)

Student 1: I need some vegetables.

Student 2: I‘m sorry. There aren’t any (vegetables).

1.- Coffee ( a little , afew)

Student 1: _____________________________________________

Student 2: _____________________________________________

Thank you in advance

I think I'd take a slightly different approach.

Complete the exercises following the example given.

EXAMPLE:

A: I need [some / a little] vegetables.

B: I'm sorry. There [isn't / aren't] any.

Thinking SpainI'll never know as much as you do.
Yes, but on the other hand I'll never know as much as you do. There aren't enough lifetimes in the universe to experience everything, but we ought not disparage what little we do!
