Please need definition correction

Hi teachers,

Could you tell me if there are any grammatical mistakes in this explanation please?

Normally a question word has a verb after it, except what kind of, whose, which, how many, and how much that have a common noun after them.

TS, I am sorry to say this, but I cannot understand your approach to English grammar. Who can benefit from "rules" like this? Why would anyone be interested in memorizing question words that can or cannot be followed by a noun?

No problem. Let me explain you something, the definition I've asked to be corrected here is right after a big chart that contains a number of question words and their explanations.

"How much?" (no noun) Already understood that you are referring to money in this particular case. I've already explain it to the students. Other times is understood because of the context.
