Please Need Correction. Unit 8. (2)

Hi Teachers,

Would you correct if there are any mistakes in this paragraph?

Tom and Susan are in the mountains. Neither Tom nor Susan can ski very well. They are both skiing very badly at the moment, but she is skiing even worse than he is. At least he can keep his balance. It is hard for both of them because they are both beginners. We cannot be sure which one is going to fall down first, but Susan seems to be the one.

Is it appropriate here the verb 'seems' in 'Susan seems to be the one', or should I use 'looks like'?

Thanks in advance

This is a perfectly natural use of "seems."

Hi,

Tom and Susan are in the mountains. Neither of them Tom nor Susan can ski very well.

You tend to have a lot of this kind of unnatural repetition in your examples.
